At Güç Koleji, our mission is to provide a comprehensive, multilingual education that empowers students to excel academically and personally. Our Story
In 2013, driven by ambitious dreams and boundless enthusiasm, we began with a small rented kindergarten. Over time, thanks to the relentless dedication and hard work of our teaching staff, we built an educational institution that exceeded our highest expectations. Since 2019, we have proudly offered school education in both Russian and Turkish. But we are not stopping there—our new English department is now open, and we are planning a move to a larger, more spacious building.
School Leadership
Ayna Türkan, Founder and Principal
Ayna Türkan is the co-founder of Güç Koleji and the head of its Russian-speaking department. As a devoted mother of two, she brings warmth, empathy, and personal experience to her leadership role. Her journey began in 2013 with the desire to provide a high-quality Russian-language education for her own children — and quickly grew into a full-fledged school with programs up to 8th grade. Ayna works closely with teachers, students, and parents to ensure that every child in her care receives individual attention, emotional support, and an engaging academic experience.
Mete Özmen, Turkish Department Principal
Mete Özmen graduated from Hacettepe University with a degree in Physics Education in 2000. He has worked as a teacher and administrator in prestigious educational institutions in Ankara. Since the establishment of Güç Koleji in 2013, he has been serving as the School Principal. Guided by the principle that “a happy child is a successful child,” he and his team of dedicated educators strive to nurture modern, well-rounded students in line with Atatürk’s principles and reforms.
Haşim Türkan, Founder
Haşim Türkan is the co-founder of Güç Koleji and a dedicated visionary behind the school’s continuous growth and development. From the very beginning, his goal was to create a place where children feel safe, well-cared for, and inspired to learn. His attention to detail can be seen in every aspect of school life — from modern renovations to healthy, balanced meals for students. One of his key initiatives was the introduction of 15 hours of English per week across all departments, ensuring that students are fully prepared for a global future.
